First Congregational Church Parsonage
403 Third Avenue
Eau Claire, Wisconsin 54703-5538

Purcell & Elmslie, 1913-14

Originally built for $5,900, the house was enlarged in 1941 by an addition to the front of the house, which enlarged the living room and added a bedroom upstairs. The original paint scheme was the opposite of today’s: the stucco was dark with light trim. The house was sold in 1978, and is now in private hands.
