House
2562 Highland Drive
Salt Lake City, Utah 84106-2771

attrib. Taylor Woolley, 1916

This residence and another at 2518 Highland, which seem to be inspired by Wright’s iconic “Fireproof House for $5,000,” are attributed to Taylor Woolley by Salt Lake City historian Butch Kmet. Though Wooley’s name does not appear on the building permit, he was working for the developer and the designs of these houses bear his hallmarks.

This black & white photograph was taken in 1937.

Photographs and research courtesy of Butch Kmet.
