Westminster Presbyterian Church
Sunday School Renovations
1201 Nicollet Avenue
Minneapolis, Minnesota 55403-2402

Purcell, Feick & Elmslie, 1910, 1912

Originally remodeled as a Kindergarten Sunday School room by PF&E, then later cut up into offices. More recently, it has been returned to a semblance of its original appearance for its new use as a church library.

An original view of this room can be found on the University of Minnesota Library website.

The ceiling of the recently completed tower at the corner of 12th & Marquette features this enormously-scaled, Elmslie-inspired decoration. The object in the center is an electrolier that is suspended from the ceiling.
