Boehmler House
105 Second Street SE
Hampton, Iowa 50441

Einar Broaten, c. 1918

One of Broaten’s more substantial and composed works. The main façade faces east, giving the porches a primarily southern exposure.

Note the window muntins, especially in the attic dormer.

Note the gabled dormer and first floor roofs—compare with the Kohl House, just a few blocks away.

Added to the National Register of Historic Places, 1991.
