People’s Savings Bank Building
101 3rd Avenue SW
Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404

Bank closed as a result of 2008 flooding. A redevelopment project is underway.

Louis H. Sullivan, 1912

The following photos were taken on 3 April 2009, and show the result of flood damage. Although at first glance the exterior seems little affected, note that the main door is boarded up, the globes on the light fixtures are missing, and the right-most brick lamp post is gone—its base is covered by a plywood box. The interior photos below were taken through extremely dirty windows.
