S.F. Blymer Cottage
Wayzata, Minnesota

Purcell, Feick & Elmslie, 1910

Uncertain of both the location of this building and its present condition, if extant. Wayzata is assumed from Purcell’s “Lake Minnetonka” address.

Purcell’s Parabiographies makes reference to two summer cottages built for Blymer. It’s not clear whether two were indeed constructed.

A page listing Purcell drawings in the Northwestern Architectural Archives at the University of Minnesota spells the original owner’s surname “Blymyer”.
