Ingwald Moe House
660 Van Buren Street
Gary, Indiana 46402-2240

attrib. Frank Lloyd Wright, 1910

There is some debate regarding the authorship of this house. Storrer says that architectural evidence proves that it is an adaptation of Wright’s design for the Charles A. Brown House in Evanston, Ill. (S.110), perhaps by Marion Mahony. A detailed history here describes the involvement of the various personalities, and points out that Taliesin assigned an opus number of 0531 to the Moe House.
